Sky App Ps4 Black Screen

When I now click on the Sky Go app to launch I am greeted with a black screen, nothing else, no load page, no text, nothing except a black screen. There seems to be other Sky customers via the Sky Community page with similar issues ranging from 10 minutes of viewing then a black screen etc etc.

I had same issue as many after updating Sky Go to 1.4.10.0 on Windows 10. That is that when you run the app it just shows a black screen. Some said that resizing the window fixed it, but that did not fix it for me. I have found a resolution that works for me, sharing it in case it works for others. 1. Uninstall Sky Go. 2.

Hi, Having updated the app, all I now get after the "Checking for updates" screen, is a blank black screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, tried old fixes for the original app, and done everything possible, to no avail. Any fix would be much appreciated. Robert

Hi I have recently downloaded the new sky go desktop app and I can't get it to work. Total black screen and just a blue circle going round with a white hand icon. I have tried switching off my firewall with no luck. What is the problem? I am using a windows 10 pc

The black screen issue probably won't go away until it's patched BUT you should be able to read some of the things we've all done to workaround the issue. I wouldn't expect much out of Sky though, last time there was a major issue with the PS4 Sky Go app it took them a month or so to patch it.
