Youtube App Update Required
When I open the YouTube app on my iPad a dialog box pops us saying "Update Required You must update to continue. (Quit) (Update) I click Update it goes to the app store to "YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream" My only option for clicking is "OPEN". I do and the same dialog box appears saying "Update Required You must update to continue.
Without the most up-to-date version of the app, you can still watch YouTube videos, but you may not have some of the newest features. Update the YouTube app. Go to the App Store. I’ve recently tried to go onto youtube on my iPad mini. It comes up with an Icon that says the app needs to be updated,otherwise I cant Use the app. but when I go to the App Store the blue button turns white which doesn’t allow me to update. I have deleted it and tried to re download it but it’s not downloading now.
It asks me to update the app for almost a year but it always says "failed to install" when I tried to update on play store (problem -501 or 901). Now it asks for update again but I no longer can ignore it and I can't access the app completely.
The change mainly impacted older devices like Apple TVs, iOS devices (iPhones and iPads), smart TVs, gaming consoles etc. While the company’s move made it to news headlines, the announcement didn’t convey anything regarding older Android phones.. Looks like the step the company took back then is affecting many users till date and they are confused why they can’t install YouTube app on.

Can't access YouTube as of today. A message says "Update required in order to continue", but when I go to the update page, clicking on the update link returns me to the "Update required" page.. The YouTube app I've had and used frequently that has always been okay and up to date, is now not even listed on my list of updates in the App Store.
The message said I needed to update in order to view. I clicked update, it redirected me to the app at app store, and there's no button to update. I clicked at the open button, it opened youtube but couldn't view and update.
