Roku App Remote Keeps Disconnecting

I keep having issues with my Roku remote constantly disconnecting from my Roku. I could be scrolling through stuff to watch, and my remote will decide to not send the Roku itself any of my key presses, for no reason. I am also started having the same problem a few months ago (worked fine until then). Roku Ultra, Android Roku app installed, latest updates installed from the Play Store. It will play the audio for less than 1 second and then returns audio to the TV. It works fine with the Roku remote, but I'd rather just plug into the Chromebook with Android app.

Remote keeps disconnecting from Roku Ultra.. (I was using the Roku app on my phone to control the TV). I can temporarily solve the problem by unplugging the Roku's power cord for a few seconds, and then holding down the button in the remote's battery compartment while the Roku reboots.
